OUR COMPANY

EVENTS, LLC has the resources and benefits of a large corporate event company with the personal attention provided by a small private company. OUR DESIGNERS

Brad Volsted started in the event industry as a teenager building props and setting events. He is now the respected Operations Manager and Event Designer at EVENTS, LLC. Don’t let his good looks fool you Brad has a keen eye for design and attention to detail.

Mark Gardner gained his experience in the event industry by helping reputable friends to “put on” charity events and throw huge parties. He has explored many avenues to express his creative talents from catering to Interior Design and has found being an Event Designer and Coordinator at EVENTS, LLC is the most rewarding.

Vicki Byers’s first event experience was planning the Jewel Ball for the Younger Woman’s Club. She realized she had the imagination, organizational skills and the ability to decorate on a “shoe string” budget. She went on to serve 12 years on the Kentucky Derby Festival Board and participated in the production of many events including the Derby Ball. She now puts her vast experience and impeccable eye for color to use as our Event Rental Specialist.

Melissa Cruz is an assistant Event Rental Specialist and handles all Administrative duties including Accounts Receivable, Account Payable, light IT work, H/R, and assists in some event designs. Her favorite events are the elegant affairs that incorporate sumptuous linens and lavish decor.

OUR LOCATION

EVENTS, LLC's style, vitality and professionalism are reflected in our showroom which filled with themed vignettes and enchanted elements. A customer recently compared a tour through our warehouse and showroom to a trip to "Disney Land". Our building is as interesting as the items we showcase and store in it. We are located in Louisville’s Old Butchertown neighborhood in the historic Oertel’s ’92 Brewery Building. It is easily accessible from downtown Louisville as well as from I-64.

ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS

EVENTS, LLC has embraced the living "green" lifestyle. We are committed to reducing our carbon foot print by reducing our consumption of goods and resources. Our commitment to environmental preservation includes financial investments to replace worn out or damaged stock items with items that are easier on the planet. Recently our holiday décor lights needed replacing; we did so with LED lights. These last longer, are more durable, are cool and up to 90% more energy efficient than incandescent lights. Our efforts also include recycling. One intrinsic characteristic of the event business is that most décor and props can be recycled or refurbished into something completely fresh.
